The idea was to combine the strength of and simplicity of welded stainless steel and the soft integrity of smoothened mahogany.

The following chair, desk, and lamp were all hand welded, milled, and stained. The three piece series was a play on balancing heavy materiality on minimal structure. The palette is meant to appear simple yet true to the integrity of its elements.
